From May 1, 2021, the export tax rebate for some steel products will be cancelled. The first round of tax rebate adjustment involves 86% of the country's steel products and 65-70% of the export volume, but the specific impact of each product is different.
On March 20, 2020, the export tax rebate rate for thick-walled seamless steel pipes was raised to 13%, including some hot-rolled stainless steel strips, some cold-rolled stainless steel strips, some stainless steel wires, etc.
On November 1, 2018, the goods with the current 15% and some 13% export tax rebate rates will be raised to 16%, 9% to 10%, some of them to 13%, 5% to 6%, and some to 10%. The export tax rebate rate for "high energy consumption, high pollution, resource-based" products and products facing the task of "cutting overcapacity" remains unchanged;
On July 31, 2018, the export tax rebate rate was lowered. The original 17% export tax rebate was adjusted to 16%, and the original 11% export tax rebate was adjusted to 10%;

On June 1, 2009, the export tax rebate rate for some steel products was raised to 9%; On April 15, 2007, the export tax rebate rate was reduced to 5% for some special thick-walled seamless steel pipes, stainless steel plates, and cold-rolled 76 tax codes; the export tax rebate was canceled for the thick-walled seamless steel pipes of the other 83 tax codes.
